Fr. Lustig focuses us on the theological foundations of the mystery of the Bread of Life. We are redeemed by the flesh of our Lord Jesus Christ and He assures us this Sunday that the Bread which He will give is His Flesh for the Life of the World.

Fr. Lustig will be offering a special Mass on this Saturday morning at 8:00 AM in honor of St. Philomena, the great virgin martyr of Muligno.

We are focusing on the gift of the bread of life, the food that will endure for eternal life. And today the Lord invites us to believe in Him that is to look beyond the signs & wonders and to truly behold Him.

Fr. Lustig focuses our attention on our shift to John Chapter 6, the bread of life discourse. Our Lord is inviting us to go deeper and is preparing us for something far greater than being fed by a miraculous multiplication of loaves and fishes.

Fr. Lustig in his homily for Sunday, July 22nd focuses our attention on the Lord as our shepherd, but also in that we are called to be shepherds as well. So then, we learn that we have an obligation to be shepherds to our sheep especially as fathers and mothers to our children.
